A Bit About Me
I was first introduced to Pilates at a physical therapist’s office in high school. I had just dislocated a hip at a track meet and discovered that my injury was tied to a lack of stabilizing strength in my core and pelvis. Over the years, I kept up with the PT regime, but in 2017, Pilates took on a whole new meaning for me when I discovered Reformer Pilates. After taking over 100 hours as a student, I signed up for teacher training because I wanted to learn more about this workout that I loved so much! Since then, I’ve trained in and taught multiple modalities of Pilates from classical mat to megaformer workouts.

My Vessel classes are a creative combination of all these modalities and more! I carefully fuse strength, balance, alignment and flexibility exercises in one beat-driven, ass-kicking 60-minute workout. No detail is missed. I view my classes as a work of art and I craft them with care, precision and specificity. I care deeply about my students and am always trying to motivate each student to go beyond what they think is possible (within their physical limits). With me, you can expect a fast-paced, structured class that’s taught with a big-sister-like, tough-love energy. I love Pilates because it continues to challenge me, strengthen me and humble me, even almost a decade into my own practice. But in meeting the challenge of the physical practice, I have been able to reap the many emotional and spiritual benefits that Pilates provides. As a teacher, I offer the physical challenge to students as an invitation- and if they accept, it is my hope that they reap these same benefits for themselves.
